He definitely is going to join Honorable Horde when it starts to gain traction which given Saurfang is involved in 8.2 I do think that will be one of the storylines during Rise of Azshara. It'd be an amazing call back if Rexxar helps save Baine again just like he did in W3.

Either Thrall, Varok and Rexxar as a team saving Baine (along with Misha of course) or Mayla herself saving Baine as I know those two have a deep connection already. Since prison breaks are on the rage in BfA.
