Illidan and Maiev will always be my favorite Night Elf characters in Warcraft. Malfurion and Tyrande were appealing Warcraft 3 but have really fallen flat since then.

After when Malfurion killed those Horde soldiers in the Terror of Darkshore cinematic, he was crossed out on my list of characters that I like. He is dead to me now.
I can't fault Malfurion for being ticked off after the Horde burned his home down, filled it with plague and killed children. I can't fault people for disliking him either for attacking horde soldiers in a very horrific fashion. I hate Tyrande more than Shando personally.

I get that he's mad at the Horde but he could've just brought them as prisoners and the Horde adventurer would've went and rescued them in a quest, not kill them the way he did. I like Tyrande but I'm mad at her too at the moment.

It just proves they are no better than their "enemy" that they fight.
