I'm thinking 8.3 MIGHT end with us fighting Sylvanas and those loyal to her back in the Undercity and then the raid transfers over to N'zoth's part of the raid. But then again they seem to say she's not dying and also potentially not even a raid boss. So we'll see.

I think Silvermoon is where she makes her last stand, as her Warbringers focused on her failure to defend it once. And I think she beats us. How is she not Garrosh 2.0? Because Sylvanas doesn't lose in the end.

I wouldn't want Sylvanas to win after everything she's done to the Horde and the Alliance. It would be a punch in the face for people if not only does she survive but she wins.

I wouldn't want that either, and I'm not sure what a world where Sylvanas wins (and doesn't outright kill the champion(s) that betrayed her) looks like. I'm just trying to figure out when his story is going to diverge from retreading MoP, and that's my best guess.

Simple Answer: Garrosh was imprisoned after he failed to make his "True Horde" possible. He later escaped with Wrathion and Kairoz's help. Sylvanas will not be imprisoned and will escape from the Alliance and Horde bringing on the events of the next expansion forward.

Now I'm trying to think about other ways the story can diverge and we just need to wait for 8.3. Maybe 8.2 will have some surprises for us, too.

Well Sylvanas winning is what the Sylvanas fanboys would be falling all over for. Its about time they get slapped in the face with some true honor.
