#Warcraft Hot take: Mists of Pandaria deconstructed the faction war & showed why a faction war storyline is stupid. It was then proceeded by Legion (with a faction war zone) and BfA, which was entirely about a faction war. Its like they forgot their own point they made in MoP

I'm in a weird spot because Stormheim was among one of my favorite zones in Legion for the faction conflict there. The actual lack of Alliance and Horde in Legion was what I disliked about the expansion. I wanted the Faction War to return but in the way that it started.

Stormheim was way too drawn out for what little new Vrykul stuff there was to be appreciated. And the faction war stuff was as mess. It exposed Sylvanas as being an awful leader that gets completely ignored outside of one or two sentences.

I enjoyed mostly just the Forsaken vs Worgen bits, granted that was also around the time I didn't like Genn that much. Now adays not much of a fan of Sylvanas anymore with what she's done with the Horde. I just remember after Legion I really wanted a faction conflict.
