This is something I think a lot about but some people believe the Horde are no different under Sylvanas than under any other leader that they're the bad guys. I disagree heavily with this as the Horde has saved the world and held honor and family as their core values.

Are the Horde very antagonistic currently? That's unfortunately a yes but that's only because of Sylvanas. Remove her from power & the Horde will settle down then return to its roots. So yeah to the people who think the Horde are evil & always have been play Warcraft 3 please.

I mean it was also true of Garrosh. And under Grom. And Orgrim. Thrall is the outlier, not the rule.

Even without Thrall you have characters like Vol'jin, Baine & Varok who held those values in check. The Horde had a very dark start but what it became under Thrall is what I view as the true Horde. It also speaks volumes that even Garrosh was against a lot of Sylvanas' methods.

While i generally like those 3 characters, its important to know they go along with the horrible stuff for quite a long time. Normally only turning against their leader when it starts affecting their own race personally.

I'm just saying they got better because of Thrall and because they learned from the past. At the very least Grom and Orgrim passed their teachings onto Thrall before they died. The Horde aren't completely evil as this person says but they did have a dark beginning.

I dont think they are completely evil but they have a troubling tendency to revert to horrendous, genocidal, and evil behavior very easily.

Unfortunately, but I would have to again blame that on whenever a poor Warchief was made. Under Vol'jin and Thrall peace was possible between their sides but due to the world's circumstances it always falls to ruin. That's why I am hopeful this is the last time this takes place.

I don't buy the "Blame it all on one person," namely because the Horde DOES rise up and oppose the evil leader. They just do it after a whole bunch of other evil things already happened.

I guess but there are characters who try to oppose it at the start and are faulted or penalized for it. At the very least we have characters like Anduin who acknowledges the whole of the Horde isn't bad.
