I finished 1 and 2 and felt 2's story resonated better, but I'm still struggling getting through the early world maps of 3. It has many trappings of sandbox storytelling where the previous ones really had a much more acute execution imo.
So its kind of funny how when I've been playing Witcher 1, a game I always thought was better than Witcher 2 narrative wise is slowly showing its age. I still like the Witcher 1 but I think Witcher 2 and obviously Witcher 3 are superior both in story and gameplay.

I found myself enjoying Witcher 3 more for obvious reasons. My eyes are judgers and they judge older games graphics waaaay too much. As for story all three are amazing but I find myself enjoying a lot of the minor and major stories of Witcher 3.
