Every now and again I start trying to care about the Warcraft story once more and I just can't do it when stuff like this is happening. Especially as I play a MMORPG with a good story concurrently, as I am with FF14. Which is just so superior in every narrative way.
I don't play any other MMORPGs so that might be why I actively don't compare WoW to anything else. For me I have been enjoying BfA of course MoP was superior but that's been my mood since WoD. I understand other's frustrations & agree with some of the issues. (1/2)

I know three people besides myself, one I'm comfortable tagging
@JohnHowitzer, who were immense fans of Warcraft and its story. Followed it with passion and loved it for years. Then WoD happened and ever since then all our passion was burnt away. BfA being the biggest offender. -
Anecdotal evidence is anecdotal evidence. But there are a lot of similar stories. And despite what some like T&E or Toweliee or the few content creators who kiss ass might claim, people are not happy with the direction of WoW for very legitimate reasons. Yet nothing is changing.

I have my issues with the game and its story but I haven't felt like I did during Warlords of Draenor where the story was missing huge parts. I'm excited to see what 8.2 and beyond but I will say its important to address both issues and what is good within an expansion. (2/2)

I absolutely loathe this notion that in order to criticize the game you also have to praise what you like about it every time. Blizzard and WoW aren't toddlers. They're a billion dollar company.
