Magatha isn't really a character that needs to have the entire story written around her for a confrontation between her and another character. Baine's resolution with his father's death was the confrontation between him and Garrosh in the Shattering. She just has the macguffin.

Were it my decision I would give the kill to Magatha with Baine and for Sylvanas' loss to be a joint effort of Anduin and a dying Saurfang. Kind of have a Yrel and Durotan moment but instead with those two against Sylvanas. That'd be cool.

I think that BfA it makes sense to have the Horde and Alliance defeat her together. It was foreshadowed with Saurfang and Anduin in "Lost Honor" that they couldn't beat her alone but they could if they did so together.

1. Sylvanas silences anyone who questions her authority and threatens to either kill them or raise them (Saurfang prime example.) 2. She plagues several Horde troops and raises them as skeletons at Lordaeron. 3. Spoilers. She does more to the higher archy to the Horde leaders.
