The only difference with Sylvanas is that she's from out of the shadows and is more open because she can do whatever she wants without a higher up fussing about it. I would say though her behavior at the start of Legion threw me off as she was extremely different than usual.

If you're reffering to the Legion cinematic, then yes, we can agree on that. It felt a bit weird seeing Sylvanas fighting alongside Varian as if nothing happened. Don't get me wrong, it was one of the coolest things, but let's be honest, the world has united countless times -

Sylvanas being on the front lines (endangering herself to the Legion), leading the Horde instead of Vol'jin on the Broken Shore and fighting side by side with Varian while making friendly gestures was really strange and off. Its probably why I was sold on the, "She's changing!"

Exactly! This is why a lot of people fell for. This is a good way of writing a character. Make her show that she has changed and then BAM, a world tree is on fire. She, pretty much, outplayed everyone, even the Horde (or at least, the honorable Horde).

I'm excited to see the return of Saurfang & the rise of characters like Thrall, Rexxar, Rokhan & Baine joining forces with him against her tyranny. Sure there are similarities to MoP but I did enjoy that story. At least you get the choice this time who you fight for as Horde.

Of course it feels similar to MoP, but i doubt the outcome will be the same. Something will be different. I don't believe they will kill or imprison Sylvanas. Something else will happen, something that we can't predict or think off.

Well its already been confirmed by Blizzard beforehand that Sylvanas wont be dying. So I'm wagering she'll flee rather than get imprisoned. We already have her flying out of a throne room after all.pic.twitter.com/tUT145wMk6

True. Or she could make some short of sacrifice. That ofc, needs some real character development that I doubt can be fitted in one expansion.

I'd wager she'll get a redemption arc in another expansion but not everybody will see her as redeemed it'll be scarce at best mostly with Forsaken and Elves I'd imagine. She's a fan favorite and super popular so they have to basically please three different factions.

Alongside Jaina, Tyrande, Malfurion and Thrall, Sylvanas is one of the last main characters from W3. She has come a long way and I doubt that anyone would like to see her go that easily. A redemption story would be possible, but it needs time in order to be good.

Its funny you mention Thrall because its evident through my tweets, the fans reactions to Chris Metzen's question & a few forum posts out there that people want Thrall back. I'm really hoping we do get to see Thrall again I miss the guy & we could really use him right now.

Thrall. So much potential in one single name. I think everyone wants to see him back in one way or another. He was the guy that formed the new Horde. He must have a tip or something to keep it from falling apart. After all, the Alliance would be more than glad to see him return.

I mean, imagine how happy Anduin would be if Thrall agreed to peace. Ofc that won't happen, but, it's a nice thought. Or they could agree on peace and then something else would break it.
