Ironically this was the other reason I quit - I just couldn’t get into the whole Far Eastern theme of pandas and the Sha, it just didn’t feel like anything I had known in Warcraft up until then. Put that on top of the PITA rep grind and that’s why it’s at the bottom of my list

The rep grind was literally nothing but doing daily quests, what are you talking about? It's been that way since BC.

...even longer than it should waiting for respawns. Every other expansion has had a multitude of different ways for any given player to gear up and progress but in MoP this was the ONLY real route, hence why so many people said it sucked and Blizzard ditched it later

No, it actually wasn't. And the only people who were saying this were heroic hardcore raiders who were butthurt that they could get a single piece of gear that was on par with drops from IMMEDIATELY NEWLY RELEASED raids (and the Normal version). A fraction of a fraction.

Actually yes it was like that, and was the main reason why Blizzard ditched it - they wouldn’t have dropped it for such a vocal minority and elite sector of the playerbase like you’re saying. Either way, the system was rigid and since then has been considerably more flexible

How has it been more flexible at all? By making Reputations completely worthless outside of toys? Man so much more flexible!
