I thought the same, "Blizzard is just doing another Garrosh story! This isn't what I wanted!" but they're taking it in different steps at least. I don't think Sylvanas will be arrested or trialed but I do think the Horde will rise against her and ultimately she'll escape.
(4/4)The fact that you the player get the choice helps but they've given HD Cinematics to both Anduin & Saurfang's route of working together to stop her. Its plenty obvious what way we'll be going & again she's at least not dying & will probably stir the events of the next expansion.

Honor is heavily apart of the Horde's identity and to ignore it removes the Horde of its identity. Right now we're the Scourge with Horde Races and that's simply not okay. Blizzard knew there'd be an outcry over Sylvanas' actions hence why they made "Old Soldier".
