I love the people who think Baine is now gone due to the events of 8.1.5. Its all the people with the hate boner for him because he doesn't like their undead waifu. Baine just got a new model and there's no other prominent Tauren character to take his place. Baine's coming back.

I mean they killed voljin before they developed any replacements. Zekhan doesn't count and zappy boi didn't yet exist. They also didn't have a strong racial replacement for Garrosh, it took 2 expansions to replace him officially. But I don't think baine is gone. And I like him.

Thing with Vol'jin is they have characters who can replace him. Rokhan being the best example. When Garrosh died we had Thrall for a bit and then Saurfang. Baine doesn't really have a proper replacement in my mind. Maybe Hammul or Aponi? They just don't have many Tauren leaders.

My issue with that is rokhan really wasn't a character at that point. He was developed after the fact. So that was a reactive fix and for all arguments it was pretty much the same.

Thrall didn't do anything really except make rock bridges in legion.
