Baine is respected within the Horde and Alliance. Sylvanas knows by killing Baine she'll implore the Horde's hatred directed at her, his arrest will warrant less hatred and also make them realize what fate lies before them if they betray her. Which of course they will.

I'm not a supporter of Garrosh, I would hope people would know that by now. But Garrosh in Cata was probably the best we saw of the character he was doing a fine job in Cataclysm until Mists of Pandaria. Garrosh was a good Warchief at the start and then became among its worse.

I will agree with you there - the “Stonetalon” Garrosh I could have followed. He was a bit brash and annoying but he was fair in his own way and more or less respected other faces equally. But then that was retconned into oblivion and the “new” Garrosh was a total asshole
