I don't really see Rokhan, Ji, and Thrall as evil. Just Sylvanas, Nathanos and Gallywix as mostly evil and even Gallywix has been having signs of regrets and development in his own way (again they just started doing stuff with some of these characters too).

The Horde honors what Grom did for them by freeing them from Mannoroth. While Kargath is just honored for what he did as a person not what he ended up becoming. I just think Thrall isn't deserving of all this hatred - at least he tried to remedy his mistakes.

There really hasn't been anytime for that. There was Warlords of Draenor, his return and then the Legion's return and his exile. If Thrall becomes Warchief then there can be repairs.
