Could then this Boss of Bwonsamdi be a "rivla" of Elune who is still spiteful for her taking their subjects back before when they too were trolls? Would be cool to see a "Death Lord" vs whatever the heck Elune is in the future.
Would tie really well with the fact that the Zandalari are seemingly bound to Bwonsamdi and Rastakhan's deal and the deal Tyrande recently made with Elune who beseeched her for power and vengeance for Teldrassil. Such deals wont come without a price I imagine.
I personally subscribe to the idea that Elune is a renegade Void Lord (turned Light Lord) and that Bwonsamdi's Boss is some kind of Death Lord. Neither are Titans but are close to it in power scale. That being said they could maybe Titans but we already have a Death Titan.
