Curious: Who do you all consider is the official leader of the Lightforged and the Void Elves? Do you say Turalyon and Alleria? Or Fareeya and Umbric? I'm firmly in the camp of Fareeya and Umbric. And here's why (cont)

(cont)Turalyon and Alleria get the two factions into the Alliance, yes, but the decision to accept the invitation is made by Fareeya and Umbric. Furthermore, Turaylon has no further interaction with the Lightforged post-intro & Umbric is used in BfA to facilitate Void Elf story

Turalyon and Alleria act really well as the poster children for those two races. Even if Alleria rarely is ever in her Void Elf form and Turalyon isn't a Draenei. I'd says its an odd split between yes they are the leaders and no they're not the -true- leaders.

I think that's true of Alleria, but Turaylon has no interaction with the Lightforged at any point after the introduction. At least Alleria suggests speaking to Umbric about Void Elf assistance in the war campaign.

I think Turalyon has the excuse of, "Humans?! I haven't seen humans in forever! Let me go hang out with Khadgar and Danath!" and off he goes to help defend Stromgarde with his pal Danath while Khadgar remains a good boy and out of the silly war.

The person who introduces the Allied Race into the faction CAN be its leader but isn't always its leader. Eitrigg is a good example, as is Liadrin.

Yeah, Eitrigg and Liadrin were the rare cases of the -true Racial Leader- wasn't present both of them carry a lot of weight and respect but they're not Saurfang or Lor'themar.
