I haven't finished Chronicles Volume 3 yet but did they really retcon a lot of Founding of Durotar with Rexxar? Hopefully they don't do this to Rexxar in Warcraft 3 Reforged.

I skimmed over the FoD sections just now; there are no retcons, but the story emphasizes Thrall and Jaina's respective roles to the detriment of Rexxar. Also, Rokhan, Chen and Cairne are not mentioned.
Considering WoW's own Lore goes out of its way to include Rokhan and Chen as heavy involvers for the Founding of Durotar I doubt they'll leave it out. Chen talks often about his ventures with Rexxar as well.

Yeah, definitely. I really don't think they'll change much (or anything really) of the story parts with the WC3 remaster. I don't even think they'll change the retconed parts to be honest

I think at most they'll do some tweeks but I guess we'll see in about a year or so.
