That's a great way to put it. She's always been a great villain. Sometimes she was a villain who happened to be fighting on our side and made a decent temporary ally, but a villain nonetheless.
Her best moments were in Wrath of the Lich King and Legion. Those were more of her moments of fighting for what was right but also doing whatever it takes to win.
