That being said, the only person who would really know this happened is Rastakhan, who dies shortly later. I wonder if this will ultimately be relevant in breaking Talanji free of his bargain, which I'm convinced needs to happen to save Zandalar from his control.

Given Vol'jin is heavily involved in the Storyline I think Vol'jin will have a hand in this as well with Talanji - he might even become a designated Loa for Talanji and those who previously worshipped Rezan.

Vol'jin, keyword WAS a Shadow Hunter and used Shadow Magic. If we learned anything recently a being of Chaos or Light can be converted or change (EX: the Naaru) Vol'jin is something both new & different from what we know already and i'm pretty sure he's at Loa status right now.
