So rather than actually fix Rexxar's dialogue and make him back to what he should be, they instead add some pointless, "This will save lives" comment that is not explained whatsoever and then have Valtrois go along with it. We're not even told what Ashvane is giving to the Horde

I mean the Alliance was literally like, 'Let's use azerite to save the world" and then the Horde genocided the Night Elves and burned down a world tree.
In comparison the Horde are definitely a lot darker than the Alliance in this war. Not saying they aren't. But there's no way Blizzard could probably realistically make the whole of the Horde pay for the war - currently they are having the Alliance win anyways.

I expect the "winning" (Although yay still losing characters because they never get an actual win) will stop immediately when Azshara shows up.

More than likely. I mean I can't see Anduin being the type anyways to annihilate the Horde especially if several of them prove to the Alliance they're not following Sylvanas any longer.
