I miss the days when reaching a new reputation level gave you a quest chain. MoP was amazing for that alone. Now we just have the Champions of Azeroth, and friendly/honored isn't even a quest chain, just a "here's +15 ilevels bye."
I did like the Vol'jin quest we got from being Revered with the Zandalari Empire but yes I fully agree - Blizzard needs to look at past expansions and see what worked really well for the playerbase. The whole thing with the Mantid, Golden Lotus, Cloud Serpent etc. Their finales!
Yeah but that didn't really count as a Zandalari Empire storyline, it was an unrelated one we already knew was coming that they arbitrarily tied to the Zandalari Empire reputation for some reason.
I'm just giving credit to it is all. Just more things like that - that rewards the player with a Lore drop like Bwonsamdi having a boss like how we got the Domination Point Questline or the Mantid reveal that they will favor Y'sharaj and the Old Ones above all.
