He's relatively sane infact he's still upholding honor above all else. I quested Alliance side he's not the General who enacted Sylvanas' orders he's just the defender of Warfang Hold. Only thing I can I think of is his line with Jaina and swearing he'll fight her if he must.

The last encounter the Horde has with Jaina is her slamming into Undercity with a Ship armed with Arcane Missle-Cannons and throwing the plague away like it was nothing. To say Jaina isn't a threat to the Horde right now (in Rexxar's eyes) would be silly. The Horde fears her.

The whole Horde knows this war is in retaliation for Teldrassil and Jaina was once their number one support - now she's more War Hungry than Genn is. Though Katherine mended some things. Hoping for Rexxar and Jaina to work things out truly.

She doesn't really come off as war hungry at all. She shows up and saves the Alliance fleet and only attacks Undercity directly when Anduin tells her to.

I'm just saying with the kind of abilities she possesses the Horde would and should worry. Thalsyyra even proclaims they couldn't fight her in Stormwind when they freed Rokhan and Talanji. Personally I think Rexxar would view her as an honorable combatant to die to if needbe.
