I don't think that Sylvanas will go on with no consequences, however you Alliance folk might not be getting the ending you want with her. I'll be the first to say that Sylvanas shouldn't follow the same path as Garrosh - but does deserve heavy consequence for all she's done.

And she won't. She'll either leave or get kicked out by the Horde. The Alliance will get a pat on the head and told that its all better. Because they never get a satisfying defeat over the Horde. Ever. Not a single time in all of WoW.

Neither side will ever be allowed or able to topple over the other. That's the largest issue in WoW - although Horde does seem to gain a lot of wins in events like Teldrassil or Theramore.

You dont have to topple the Horde to give the Alliance a win. As you say, the Horde tend to get them frequently. Every skirmish in Cataclysm except Swamp of Sorrows is a Horde victory (And even in SoS, the Alliance are too honorable to destroy Stonard). Theramore. Teldrassil.

I would say that Siege of Orgrimmar is an Alliance win since the Horde Rebellion would've failed on their own at taking Garrosh but I can also see why not. The Alliance should kill Sylvanas which could then make the story different from it being Garrosh that was a joint effort.

The Siege of Orgrimmar is a joint victory, like every single final raid boss in WoW.

That's what i'm saying. Instead of a Warchief's downfall being both the Alliance and the Horde its instead the Alliance who kills the Warchief - rather than imprisonment or exile.

The chance of that happening is 0%. Its clear from every interview done at Blizzcon or after BFA's launch that this is just the Horde's story while the Alliance gets Jaina's redemption. And now we're just along for the ride for another Horde introspection.

I dont try to be nonpartisan in this specific discussion at all because Ive been, along with plenty of other people, leaving feedback about this problem since freaking Cataclysm's beta. And its not changed a single time. And I dont expect it to. I'm just going to quit eventually

Will be sad to see you go man. I truly hope the Alliance gains a win from this.
