It just seems kind of arrogant tbh. "You don't agree with my opinion so therefore you must just be ignorant."
It's one thing to disagree with somebody's opinions but its another to tell that person that they know nothing. I hate when people tell me, "You're wrong shut up. I'm right beat it kid." its frustrating and foolish.

Its just the person not having the intelligence to actually explain why you're wrong. They just declare you're stupid or ignorant so they don't bother to actually explain how they're right. They're the most easily dismissable comments.
