I think that if it was Thunder Bluff that the Horde lost I would be a bit more upset. I'm upset about Undercity's loss but when it comes to cities Orgrimmar and Thunder Bluff are my top two.

I always saw Malfurion as kinda like Thrall, faction aligned but getting the bulk of his work done with/as a non-aligned power for the sake of the greater good. Undercitys had it coming since Gilneas invasion tbh.
Thrall and Malfurion are and were similar in a lot of ways. The biggest difference being Malfurion was less involved against the Horde and more involved in neutral gatherings. But Thrall has gone MIA and Malfurion is definitely more onboard the Alliance after this.

I can't blame him going full Alliance now honestly. Poor Night Elves. Horde til I die but this feels wrong. I hope Malf comes back full war aspect, juiced on nature's wrath. The elves need a new tree house asap

I could see them moving to Val'sharah and restoring Shaladrassil or something maybe? The World Tree Nordrassil will likely remain neutral ground and would be a bad idea for them to move there.
