Finished reading BtS a second time and.. Eesh. Sylvanas is more than just mean. She's just a complete and total asshole and it still blows my mind how anybody sees her as not just a villain. (1/2)
She's had her good moments & obviously her bad. For me we're just seeing what happens if you try & blend the living & undeath together & in her PoV it simply cannot be done not after the pain it caused her. Heroic? No. Even Nathanos the Sylvanas Fanboy of the year calls her out.

What good moment did she have? She just constantly throws negativity into the Desolate Council member's faces, to the point that she does so directly after they get refused by their family.

I was mostly referring to her past moments in Legion and WotLK. I still need to finish Before the Storm, but from what I have seen of it or heard from it Sylvanas is a rather confusing character but I am anxious to see where her character goes.

The story doesnt even really imply she's doing it primarily out of any actual care for them, she does it so that she can turn them toward her side more. The entire reason she agrees to the meeting at all is either to sway them to her side or give her a bargaining chip over them

Yeah I don't know... If they're building Sylvanas up to be an Antagonist they're doing a good job at it but it's also kind of saddening to see her walk down this path. ...While also being Warchief, seriously my biggest issue stems from this being another Warchief going dark.
