according to Navajo, Greek, German tradition these skinwalkers are the shapeshifted manifestation of what once was normal humans. So yes. IF they aliens, gods, or multidimensional I lack the insights to answer.

One more - the huge wolf that was shot several times and ran away. Did anyone manage to gather the flesh shot from it? Was it lab tested ? Has it been seen again?

Great question. Didn't they say it rotted unusually fast, would that affect analysis? Hopefully they could still get DNA though.
