If abductions are real they may teach us two things: 1) No military on Earth can stop this presence from doing what it wishes. 2) The Phenomenon may not be an existential threat at all. But that doesn’t mean humanity is likely to feel comfortable w/ everything it does here.

never understand why some people always underestimate human ingenuity. We likely share similar dna. Whatever "they" are, they are NOT gods. Even European explorers would make trade agreements with uncivilized stone age tribes they encounter throughout their travels.
