I am too simple for deep thoughts but...is DNA the *only substance that actually improves itself despite the never ending entropy caused the one directional arrow of time? Seems like only collectives add order to the infinite matrix.

After more digging, a useful google search phrase is “negative entropy”. Often this involves heat movement or making molecules. This is one of the more direct summaries, but the concept of “improve” isn’t covered by any Entropy discussions I’ve seen: http://mathforum.org/library/drmath/view/56356.html …
is the DNA organizing itself into more complex states of higher order, or merely adapting to the endless barage of entropy?

It’s easier to think of different climates/conditions, and the associated human traits affording an Advantage in those conditions. Here’s a wild idea for a future study: If someday another SWR Dire Wolf is seen and it requires another shotgun blast...what would a piece of that meat show regarding a DNA
test? Or If there are any ETs in cold storage would the DNA look like ours or totally different?
