1/ What is base reality? How do we know the programmers in the simulation aren’t simulated themselves? It creates a problem of infinite regress. A better view which functions similarly is philosophical idealism. Essentially everything that exists is an idea in the mind of God.
those who programmed us likely have no clue that they themselves are numerically probable to be nothing more than constructs of programmers above them in a almost infinite loop until the singularity of all, the c(C?)reator.

Sure, that is possible. I do think their is a fundamental choice between whether consciousness is an emergent property from the material, or a fundamental aspect of reality that all concious beings participate and derive from. I believe the latter.
