I spoke to the Shermans, the previous owners of Skinwalker Ranch. They told me that the Meyers built the origional concrete bunker(?) in basement. They were as confused as we are as to why. They also confirmed they too heard strange sounds and knocks coming from the basement...

i also floated that rumor too years ago. seriously lol. That the Meyers only child "little boy" (something like that) was buried on the property, hence no digging. Again NOT true.
