If had called a black candidate the "N word," would we all expect that candidate to explain herself? Would onus be on her? Why is it on ? Now people saying she didn't react perfectly to "charges" against her? No, onus in on person who said the slur!

Call your reps NOW! Don't let get passed without letting them know that you want a strong progressive agenda to be a top priority, like ! With this will be 10000x more unlikely to gain any traction, especially among corporate dems!

This is the most self-serving president we have ever had in our history. He shuts down the govt leaving border patrol agents, forest firefighters and others without a paycheck but makes sure his business isn’t affected. He can’t even spell sacrifice.

When Republicans win they take power, but when Democrats win they too often give their power to Republicans. If House Democrats pass , they’ll be ceding power to Donald Trump and Republican politicians immediately after historic Democratic gains. 🤦‍♂️

PAYGO is wretched policy, but I am most irritated over the sheer stupidity of it. it says "I am a gormless clod whose head has been trapped in a pickle jar since 2006"

Message to House Dems: Do NOT vote for “PayGo” in the rules package. It’s a brainless Republican idea that tax cuts or mandatory spending increases must be offset by tax increases or mandatory spending cuts. Totally disables fiscal policy.

PayGo would be a terrible policy that unilaterally disarms the incoming Democratic majority’s ability to govern. Rather than pursue cuts to programs we support, we should stand on our principles and argue that our policies would lead to economic growth

Yes, but what have you done about it? If you vote yes on , you have helped to defeat all progressive priorities. I don't see how anyone can call you a progressive leader at that point.
