Imagine continuing to miss the point after missing the point. I've never even watched Steven Crowder. I'm "defending" no one, I'm simply pointing out how stupid your Tweet was. Obviously, demonetizing his channel is far beyond the "bare minimum." What'd you prefer? A hanging?

0-100 real damn quick there. delete all his videos with racist/homophobic harassment, and all his climate denial videos for that matter. and sure, you’re “not defending crowder”. that’s bullshit and both of us know it.

What part of "I've never even watched one of his videos" didn't register in that little triggered brain of yours? I literally heard about this through a third-party. What motive would I have to defend him? Also: we should do all those things because of jokes? Authoritarian much?

if you think the repeated use of slurs qualify as jokes, you aren’t funny.

And thanks for proving how thoroughly you're missing the point. The entire concept of a joke is that it isn't serious in nature/meant to be taken literally. And yet, you want to deplatform and censor others because you didn't find their joke funny/they hurt your fee fees. Grow up

slurs aren’t jokes but go off i guess

Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, George Carlin, Daniel Tosh, Amy Schumer, Bill Burr, Sarah Silverman, etc. And those are just the ones I can name off the top of my head. ALL OF THEM use slurs in their comedy sets. Try again, sweetheart.

or you can put your big girl pants on and stop taking words, especially those used in the context of humor/not intended to offend, so God damn seriously. All the time you spend clutching your pearls on social media gets you nowhere. I'll continue to excuse people who use slurs

Once again, just because *you personally* do not find something funny doesn't mean it's not comedic/humorous. You seem to be operating from the assumption that the world somehow revolves around you. (spoiler: it doesn't)
