The crowdfunder for my project Outsiders giving a voice to homeless people and capturing their stories and photos is now live. I have very little hope it will get any support but if you are able to donate even a small amount I will be eternally grateful

The could simply transfer the objects to the Royal BC Museum which has accreditation and they could then arrange the repatriation in line with Canadian standards. It really is as simple as that.

The use of accreditation standards to refuse repatriation is a red herring. This repatriation could easily be done via the Royal BC Museum repatriation programme. It is what was agreed to be the right approach at the Indigenous Perspectives on Repatriation symposium in 2017.

Some more of my regular work. My clients have a huge range of backgrounds: aerial fitness instructors & businesses owners, yoga studio owners, graphic designers, nannys right through to nuclear physicists. Like I said, a misunderstood and unfairly judged community.

One of the reasons why I refused to let them run a story on Outsiders or use any of the photos. In many ways they are worse than the Daily Mail.

In the creative industries and in museums and galleries across the globe groups of white people regularly meet to discuss what must be done about diversity and inclusion, all the time not realising how ridiculous it is to discuss this without including the communities in question

Thank you all for your love & support on the last tweet which also showed how many brexit voters do consider Polish people vermin, attacking me for saying it hurt me. Sadly these people have won & won't stop now with the green light on nasty xenophobia in Example:

I’m puzzled by the stolen narrative that a Soft Brexit could have been had. When? Remaining in the SM and CU has never been on offer. Remaining in the SM has never been on offer. It’s a myth to batter Remainers with. Remainers were offered nothing from the off.

If you ever wondered what the inspiration was for Bill Brandt’s very strange nudes look no further than Edward Weston who Brandt described as being from the ‘poetic’ school of photography. Here is one of Weston’s nudes from 1936.

I have been unable to find any research supporting the view that deradicalisation works. It seems to address the ideology very unsuccessfully without addressing the underlying affiliative factors. Is there some definitive research on the efficacy? If not then why not?

The grimmest element of the client journalism Johnson commissions every day is the notion that, from the NHS to probation & policing, this Conservative government somehow has nothing with the last ten years of Conservative government.

Early stroll. Shadows bruise the pavement. A bright white parked car like a giant bar of hotel soap. An almost perfectly round puddle could be a shallow wishing well; leaves are coins. A man slumps on the back seat of the bus as though he is a puppet with the strings cut.

More images by Edward Linley Sambourne, taken between 1905-08 in Kensington, London, showing Edwardian women going about their everyday lives. Unlike stiff studio portraits, these images are vivid and real.
