And is about to attack social media with a committee to investigate the influence it has on politics. Hypocrisy in the extreme when 's influence is considered.

Australian commercial media and at times the ABC have gone to a dark place in not reporting the many failings of the Coalition Government. Thank goodness for social media!

If the DPP seeks a suppression order to prohibit media coverage of the trial of the ASIS East Timor bugging whistleblowers/spies, all Australian media should take a unified stand: News Corp/Fairfax/ABC et al.

How strange: reports lawyer Bernard Collaery's DPP summons lists each ABC staff interaction "but strangely misses News Corp" (Leo Shanahan ) which broke the ASIS East Timor bugging story on 29 May 2013. via

"Senior Liberals told The Australian this week the Coalition was not ready to fight an early poll. This was partly due to the expectation Mr Turnbull would struggle to win and would want to hold on to office for as long as possible."

T'aint Bill who has won the polls - it's the ALP - & it doesn't matter because leading into to 2013 election Abbott didn't win any either. Let's get over this presidential-styled politics where the whole focus is on the leader. Shorten is competent & will make a good PM.
