Alex Jones has used YouTube as a platform to commit libel (calling Robert Mueller a pedophile, calling Sandy Hook parents actors and the death of their children a hoax, etc) for a long time now and they removed him from it. 1/2

Other content hosting sites also banned Jones, within hours of each other. I find it likely they've wanted to for while, but were fearing this sort of backlash from an audience which drove the parents of school shooting into hiding. 2/3

This had caused many to claim the death of free speech, despite these bans being enacted by non-public entities. It's apparently fine for business owners to not sell wedding cakes to gays, but not ok to prevent a user from slandering people.

The wedding cake people were sued and they lost even though it was a privately owned business and they had every right to deny anyone they wanted service

They would legally be able deny service to someone for being black? You think that's legal?

Its the definition of discrimination but they were a religious bakery and the westboro baptist church protests at funerals of war veterans to tell their family they went to hell and thats not illegal so honestly suck it up it was a cake just go somewhere else
