      So are you saying that smaller channels (like my own) will no longer be able to utilise basic features such as custom thumbnails? Because that is absurd.

      You do not need to be a part of YPP to use creator features like ability to upload videos longer than 15 mins, custom thumbnails/URL and live streaming. You just need to have a verified account by phone: https://goo.gl/3iMkBG
