Thanks for the trip down memory lane . Although we retired our Boeing 747 passenger fleet in 2012, the aircraft continues to play an important role today in our freighter operations.

#OTD in 1993 the 1,000th 747 rolled out of our factory. The passenger jet was later delivered to @SingaporeAir. Today, the 747 Freighter plays a big role in the airline’s cargo operations, which is a good thing as the cargo market is expected to double over the long term.
