My evidence that continuing this mask mandate is the result of trauma and neuroticism (combined with a gaslighting media and a malignant, autocratic political class)? At this point these truths are self evident. And if you don’t see it, then you’re part of the problem.

I can’t make it simpler (without a box of crayons).

You guys might be thinking of the case mortality rate, which is about 1.7.

That’s how you calculate total mortality rate for a population. Case mortality is very different (and no, I am not an epidemiologist).

Your calculation is incorrect (389,000/328,000,000)*100,000 = ~120 deaths per 100,000. This estimate is likely low due to lag time in reporting. /1

To give you some perspective: the top 3 leading causes of death for 2018 (most recent available data) CV disease 200.3 deaths per 100K Cancer 183.2 deaths per 100K Accidents 51.1 deaths per 100K Where does COVID figure in @ 120 deaths per 100K? /2pic.twitter.com/1BP6vHuJSC

Citation. Screenshot because it never fits on one tweet. This data is reproducible. If you calculate a rate: (deaths/population)*what your rate you're wanting, in this case, 100,000.
