      @DoDeChehedron I respect your opinion the most. What snes emulator would you recommend? Looking to play rom hacks.

      Best performance + most CPU usage = bsnes. Easiest to use/I use = snes9x (v1.53 or 1.54). Other people prefer higan and bizhawk but I haven't used them so I can't vouch. Good luck!

      Does bsnes give me the ability to enable/disable audio channels freely?

          from what I've been told, snes9x and bizhawk do, so bsnes probably does. Also told there are issues where you'll probably still hear the percussion. It's not perfect. Also-i recommend Bizhawk most
