why are people so against bits and bit cups, real legit reasons, no 'just trash lul'

"if you earn money, you are a sellout" basically. people overuse the word sellout. im fine with bits etc myself :)

I assume most don't care about the spam it creates, understandable, but you can set a cheer minimum anyway

Personally I find the whole cups thing visually and aurally distracting.

I make a point of cheering once in a channel, in one amount, rather than dropping a bunch of 1's.

I still find it distracting, still a whole thing going on on screen, often over / under other stuff.

to be honest the only streamers I've watched with bits tend to have the cup being sort of small
