I was theorizing what Valve could maybe do to help combat hackers and an idea I came up with is: players who refuse to kick their hacking teammates should be given the same punishment as the person who's cheating. Thoughts?

Forgot to mention I was specifically referring to csgo since their bans are issued on a case by case basis and the voting system makes sense for this idea. Not all of Valve/Steam

personally, yes but also no, it would DEFINITELY have to be a case by case basis, if your teammate was obviously spinbotting and just flat out killing the entire enemy team, then maybe if no action was attempted, but i fear too many people would be pressured into doing something

But this also should be taken into consideration that people would more or less fear hackers, and make it more of a toxic community then anything, which yeah, hackers need to be shunned, but being under the fear that if you dont shun them, that you get punished could be very bad
