Content ID for almost all songs, tv shows, movies, animations, etc is basically impossible to be perfect but as someone's who's been false flagged occasionally it's usually pretty accurate. YouTube is at the mercy of all these companies when it comes to unlawful profit of IPs
So it's gotta be on the safe side to protect themselves and that means mistakes happen.

Just the fact that these mistakes happen to smaller creators that have a harder time getting them corrected often enough that it’s demoralizing both for growing creators that Youtube has tried to push lately and for an outsider looking in. Most of it is vague resentment atm.

That is to say, I agree with you. There are just problems without an ideal solution for either party, and Youtube has been taking steps to improve stuff. It’s just that people usually hold YouTube more accountable because they’re a multibillion dollar company themselves.
