I thought the ban was from me asking weather we could joke about rape jokes. It does actually make more sense now that I see this. I still think there’s nuance, however I do agree that jokes mocking victims of making light of the topic are awful. I never got to explain that.

The rules clearly say it's not a topic you can joke about. It's quite obvious that you saw that and felt you needed to defend your right to make certain jokes but I aim to have a clean chat environment that doesn't make people uncomfortable or worse, remind them of something.
