Just an update: cuts on my arm aren't very big. They just came from very tiny pieces of glass flying everywhere. Plan today is being the SSD to a specialist in the hopes of data retrieval and get a new temporary computer. I've determined my current motherboard is a risk to use.

Could be that too but either way, not going to continue using that build

I'd definitely avoid using the power supply from now on. I've never personally heard of a "drive killing" motherboard personally but I suppose it's possible. I totally understand why you wouldn't trust either of them though.
