By the same logic, Thor is abusing the system many *YouTubers* are plauged by. But saying that, Thor deserves no donation, and has abused an individual in ways money and Twitter can't explain.
You're right, sort of. Copyright holders at any point can revoke permissions unfortunately. Nintendo could legally choose to remove almost all of my videos and it's within their rights as the copyright holders. Copyright law is awful, but I don't agree he abused the system.

If it lacks an exit clause, a license to use a work is permanent once granted. (CC-BY-3.0, for example, cannot be revoked if the work is offered under that license, though you can refuse to license it to new people.) Most lawyer contracts include an exit clause for any reason.
