A lot of ppl including myself have really bad internet so I would say if you don't have quality settings, don't stream in hd because I think you could be losing out on keeping a lot of new viewers that just can't keep up. Something to think about for affiliates that are growing

Quality options should just be a standard
Serverside transcoding is resource intensive but it'd be cool if those that have good internet could take the resource burden and transcode their own streams. People streaming in 1080 usually would be able to handle at least 1 additional lower quality upload.
