It probably doesn't help anything - but if I'm to spam my followers with a million messages and responses - I think they deserve to understand someone's actual motive + get the full scope of the story.

Kevin cares more about his viewership increase than the rights violated by the people being used without their permission so he is, at least in this regard, a pretty terrible person. Speedrunfails owned up to it and is trying to correct it. Kevin pretends nothing bad happened.

Kevin's probably one of the most quality individuals in the SM64 community rn. Dropped everything and is giving his all to SM64 for the love of the game. Always positive, always giving to the community... idk how you can rag on him like that.

i think it’s more about everybody having different opinions, as i said before. :/ kevin is a wonderful person, he’s helped me a lot, though i do think he is in the wrong when it comes to supporting @/SpeedrunFails64 in one way, which is taking clips without permission.

i would feel really crummy if something was on MY channel and was taken without asking... i’m not saying kevin shouldn’t have his own opinion about it! he runs his channel a different way, hence where different opinions come in.

I'm all for the channel if they asked for permission. Then everyone is happy and no one feels cheated. Defending copyright theft was entirely unnecessary and the channel 100% deserved to be demonetized with how many warnings they received.

but there’s also you putting kevin out there like that, just for having a different opinion about it, when the real person you should be just putting out there is @/SpeedrunFails64. only him.
