Blaming your editor for not doing your own job lol. You definitely don't deserve to be monetized. You had copyright strikes over a year ago and you still didn't bother asking everyone for permission to use their content. Very deserved.https://twitter.com/SpeedrunFails64/status/1090823198059442178 …

I agree but from the other side I sort off disagree, there are plenty of youtubers who make money by playing a game and the developers could make the same point you're making right now.

You're completely right - and many developers exercise that right. Nintendo has done it for years and just recently changed their policy this year. So yeah - developers can do that too and some of them do. They have the rights to those things as well. What's your point?

well my point was as you put your content out there many people assume because you put it out there that you can use it considering it is public and for grabs just like gameplay. There are people that like being put into compilations and there are that dont.

Right. And the people who don't have the right to not be put in them. When that right is taken away from them, as it was, that's when it becomes a violation of rights. Which isn't arbitrary, it's TOS. That's why they got demonetized. I'm not arguing against the channel

I'm arguing against them using peoples content for their channel without their permission. (The thing they received multiple copyright strikes for and ignored until their channel was demonetized)

And this is where I fully agree with you, especially if people have been striking it for it. You need premission of the people you are using as content so to say. Otherwise be prepared to feel the consequences...

Yeah. Just like Nintendo has the right to completely end my entire YouTube channel instantly - so do these people having their stuff stolen.
