In this world of content creating, I find being featured on a channel to be a HUGE honor. Let it be with or without my consent.
A feature is always amazing exposure!
Anybody who disagrees with this obviously does NOT want to further their growth.
@SpeedrunFails64 I got your back

SpeedrunFails had multiple copyright strikes and warnings to SIMPLY get permission from people before using their clips - he 100% doesn't deserve to be monetized if he didn't learn his lesson from b4. Very few people benefit from additional traffic - it only benefits his wallet.

I mean, thanks to their channel, I've made countless friends and have grown substantially. Monetization is also how YouTube operates to push content out to more viewers. I think this whole mess could have been avoided completely.

I'd love to see any metrics that have made you believe you've received substantial traffic from being placed in a compilation

Also yeah - the mess could've been completely avoided had they listened to their multiple copyright strikes and warnings and started asking for permission before using other peoples content - I completely agree.

I just want to see this work out for all parties. To demonetize a channel is to also prevent the channel from getting more views Thusly, less exposure for all of us

To demonetize a channel that has constantly underminded people's rights to their content without permission with multiple warnings is called justice dude. If he wanted to make a living off of other peoples work and effort - he should've done his due diligence.

the same could be said about Thomas Edison. But this isn't worth arguing over. I understand where you're coming from completely. You know I love you, and everybody in the Mario family. I just want everything to work out.

I forgot when Thomas Edison started uploading other peoples light bulb blue prints to his own YouTube channel and getting the revenue for it. Very comparable. Even if you benefit from the odd person coming to your channel - your personal gain does not outweigh others rights.

Love doesn't have anything to do with it. You're selling yourself short thinking this channel has really helped you at all. It hasn't.
